Lionbridge, the Waltham, Massachusetts-based corporate communications firm, said it acquired Gengo, the Tokyo-based machine learning company.

AutoGrid, the Redwood City, California-based cybersecurity firm using AI, said it raised an unspecified amount from the venture capital unit of Royal Dutch Shell, the oil and gas producer. The money raised was an extension of a Series D announced in September.
